The first model released in the sixth generation, the 2020 Ford Explorer is completely redesigned and loaded with impressive features inside, outside, and under the hood. With additional cargo space and passenger room, a rear-wheel-drive platform for improved towing and handling, and an assortment of driver assistance and technology features, this mid-size SUV offers something for everyone.

Comfortable and Flexible Seating Options 

Third-row seating accommodates two passengers comes standard with the new 2020 Ford Explorer. Base models provide seating for seven with a three-person second-row bench, while higher trims feature second-row captains chairs which provide room for six passengers. An optional hands-free power liftgate and power-folding third-row seating are also available with some trim levels. 

The top Platinum trim takes luxury to the extreme with leather upholstery, door panels, and dashboard along with a heated steering wheel, front and back seats.

It’s an excellent car in any trim, as the standard model comes with features that are only optional on many other cars, such as 17-inch alloy wheels, LED daytime running lights and taillights, a push-button ignition, automatic headlights, adaptive cruise control, an 8-way adjustable driver’s seat, as well as many active safety features.
